Nye fasiliteter i Meyrin

Centror, a subsidiary of Audemars-Piguet, has relocated its production facilities to a new 5,000 square meter site in Meyrin due to space constraints at its previous location. This site is strategically located near two cantonal roads, an SBB train station, and Cointrin airport, providing excellent accessibility. The decision for relocation aims to accommodate the growing spatial needs of the company and ensure better logistical efficiency.

Tvillingbygninger med felles kjeller

The Centror-Ritschard Twin Buildings Complex comprises two parallel rectangular buildings, each over fifty meters long and less than twenty meters wide, connected by a common basement. Both buildings follow an R+2 construction format with flat roofs. They feature a reinforced concrete structure with plastered perimeter insulation and aluminum windows and doors. Vertical distributions, including unloading ramps and stairwells, are designed around an inner courtyard, enhancing operational flow within the complex.

Produksjons- og kontorlokaler

The Centror building is primarily dedicated to manufacturing and administrative activities, housing workshops for about forty workers and offices for twenty administrative personnel. The architectural design includes elongated windows around all four façades, embodying a contemporary and functional aesthetic suitable for the watchmaking industry. The structure is also Minergie-ECO certified, highlighting a focus on energy efficiency, the use of recycled materials, and the reduction of pollutants. It provides a flexible internal layout that can adapt to evolving operational needs and can sustain high overloads of up to 1 ton per square meter.

Ritschard administrasjonsområde

The Ritschard SA building allocates its attic to administrative functions, featuring large offices that open onto a terrace. The upper floors are designated for storage and operational requirements, including significant open spaces, freight elevators, and changing rooms. The design mirrors the Centror building's architectural language, emphasizing rational yet efficient design. This building also meets Minergie-ECO certification standards, reflecting a commitment to sustainable building practices.

Fullført på ett år

The project, managed by De Giuli et Portier Architectes SA, has a total building volume of 53,000 cubic meters and was completed within a year, from June 2013 to June 2014. The entire project underscores a blend of efficiency and contemporary design, meeting the high standards of the watchmaking industry while adhering to stringent environmental guidelines.
