Nytt renseanlegg i Gävle

The construction project involves building a new wastewater treatment plant (renseanlegg) in Gävle for the water supplier Gästrike Vatten. The project covers an area of approximately 10-12 hectares and entails extensive groundwork, foundation works, and pipeline installations. The new plant will replace the existing facility, aiming to improve the efficiency and capacity of wastewater treatment in the region.

Totalentreprise på 500 mill. SEK

AF Gruppen's subsidiary, Kanonaden Entreprenad Mälardalen AB, is leading the construction works in collaboration with ByggDialog AB. The contract is structured as a totalentreprise (design and build turnkey contract) with a target price and ongoing settlements, promoting close cooperation and flexible management throughout the project. The contract value is about 500 million Swedish kronor excluding VAT, reflecting the project's significant scale and complexity.

Krevende prosjekt med tett samarbeid

The project requires high technical precision and careful coordination due to its size and the integration of multiple construction disciplines. This demands robust project management and tight collaboration between all involved parties to ensure quality and functionality. AF Gruppen has mobilized an experienced and well-coordinated team to meet these demands and secure successful delivery.

Miljøgevinst og bærekraft i fokus

This new wastewater treatment plant is a vital infrastructure investment for Gästrike Vatten and the Gävle community, providing substantial environmental benefits by enhancing sewage treatment and reducing environmental impact in the region. The upgrade supports better water quality and contributes positively to local environmental conditions, aligning with broader sustainability goals.

Byggestart Q2 2025, ferdig 2032

Construction work is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2025 with completion expected by the second quarter of 2032. This timeline reflects the complexity and scale of the project, allowing ample time for thorough execution and quality assurance. The project is currently progressing with all necessary preparations and approvals in place to begin on schedule.
