The total construction area covers 8,400 square meters, with 5,700 square meters of existing buildings to be completely renovated. In addition, an extension of 2,700 square meters will be built, including new hotel rooms and swimming pools, which will significantly enhance the hotel's facilities.

BRA AB utfører 170 MNOK kontrakt

The construction work is being carried out by Billström Riemer Andersson Bygg AB (BRA AB), a subsidiary of Veidekke based in Göteborg. BRA AB has significant experience and capacity, with approximately 250 employees and an annual turnover of SEK 1.5 billion. They have signed a contract worth SEK 170 million with ESS Group and Gillesvik Fastigheter to execute this project. The close cooperation between BRA AB and the client is a key factor, aiming to ensure coordinated and high-quality delivery.

Ferdigstillelse planlagt våren 2020

The project timeline targets completion in spring 2020. This schedule allows for thorough coordination between the contractor and customer throughout the renovation and building phases. Although specific risks are not outlined, the scale of the renovation and new construction on an active hotel site suggests an emphasis on careful project management to minimize disruption.

Modernisering styrker økonomi og turisme

While explicit environmental measures and societal benefits are not detailed in the available information, the project’s extensive renovation and modernization are likely to improve the hotel's operational efficiency and guest experience, contributing positively to the local economy and tourism appeal on Lidingö.
